We are looking for casual inbound call agents to be a part of our inbound customer service team. Although initially a casual role, it has the potential of becoming permanent. This is a work from home role.

Initial hours will be from 20 to 37.5 hours per week during office hours ( 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday AEST) and candidates need to be flexible as hours are not always fixed from week to week.  The role involves speaking with customers over the phone and processing information on our database. Attention to detail is important as you will be processing sensitive financial information.

Do you…

  • Have a good, clear speaking voice and an ability to listen to what is being said?
  • Look forward to working as a member of a small team of dedicated inbound customer service agents on behalf of a leading financial services provider?
  • Demonstrate the ability to work without immediate supervision and as part of small diverse team, following written or verbal directions?
  • Have accurate computer and transaction processing skills and a willingness to develop those skills?

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail (A MUST)
  • Sound computer processing skills. Must know MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Decent typing speed [At least 35 wpm]
  • Demonstrated speed, efficiency, and accuracy of data processing.
  • Administrative experience is desirable
  • Ability to work a flexible roster 5 days a week between Monday and Friday
  • Very good cable or NBN Internet, headset and webcam. Two computer monitors is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Previous inbound call service with a financial institution is a preferred.

  • You are able to work minimum 25 hours per week, between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday, NSW time

As our Inside Sales Agent, you will represent and promote our clients to their prospects and customers by building rapport, developing relationships and generating sales leads. In this role, you will be contacting businesses and securing sales leads by following our solution selling process. By understanding prospects’ pain points, we can determine if and how a change in a product or service could bring specific improvements that would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Contact business prospects
  • Understand prospects’ current situation and pain points or problems
  • Present our clients’ products and services which could solve their problems or deliver improvements
  • Build brand awareness for our clients
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with our clients’ prospects and customers
  • Identify sales opportunities
  • Qualify sales or marketing leads
  • Secure meetings with qualified prospects for our clients
  • Nurture sales leads for future opportunities

Essential skills & experience

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and have engaging conversations
  • Commercial and customer-focused mindset
  • Previous experience in customer service, account management or sales
  • Intermediate computer skills and competent using Outlook, Word, Excel

Desirable skills & experience

  • Experience using a CRM program
  • Proven success in a B2B phone-based sales position
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
